The Ambassador of I.R. Iran delivered a speech at the Commemoration of the Martyr Supreme Leader held in Thai National People Council
H.E. Mr. Nassereddin HEIDARI Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Thailand on Sunday 19 July 2026 at a meeting hosted by the Thai National People Council on the occasion of commemorating the martyred leader of Iran entitled: His Holiness Ayatollah Khamenei a symbol of justice peace and spirituality delivered a speech outlining some prominent aspects of the personality of the martyred leader of Iran.
H.E. Mr. Nassereddin HEIDARI, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Thailand, on Sunday, 19 July 2026, at a meeting hosted by the Thai National People Council, on the occasion of commemorating the martyred leader of Iran, entitled: His Holiness Ayatollah Khamenei, a symbol of justice, peace and spirituality, delivered a speech outlining some prominent aspects of the personality of the martyred leader of Iran.
In this connection, the Iranian ambassador described the justice in the character of the martyred leader of Iran as a symbol of practical faith based on the rejection of oppression, resistance to the oppressor and support for the oppressed, regardless of religion, race and nationality. According to him, In the martyred leader's teachings, true peace is more than the simple "absence of war." It requires standing strong against terrorism and actively fighting oppression to achieve a just society.
In the end, Ambassador HEIDARI while referring to the magnificent funeral procession of the martyred leader of Iran, considered the secret of the people's popularity and devotion to him to be in the sincerity and spirituality of Ayatollah Khamenei.
During the ceremony, some Buddhist monks and emeritus professors also addressed topics including the historical interactions between Iran and Thailand and the eternal peace between the two nations, the cultural and linguistic exchanges between the two countries, the characteristics of ancient Iranian civilization, the prominent anti-oppression aspect of Iranian culture, and the dangers of New Colonialism for the world.
