Ambassador of the I.R. Iran meets with the Managing Director of the National Post Company
Mr. Mohammad Ahmadi Deputy Minister of ICT and CEO of the National Post Company of Iran who had traveled to Bangkok to participate in the 14th Congress of the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU) met with H.E. Dr. Heidari the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Thailand.
Mr. Mohammad Ahmadi, Deputy Minister of ICT and CEO of the National Post Company of Iran, who had traveled to Bangkok to participate in the 14th Congress of the Asian-Pacific Postal Union (APPU), met with H.E. Dr. Heidari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Thailand. During the Asia Pacific Postal Union (APPU) Congress, the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, headed by Mr. Ahmadi, emphasized on the country's experience in sustaining postal services during the Third Imposed War. The delegation highlighted the necessity of redesigning and strengthening the resilience of postal networks and moving toward ecosystems that are on par with the fifth-generation regulatory frameworks, taking into account the principles of smart postal services and the development of e-commerce. It is worth noting that the presentations made by the National Post Company's delegation, particularly in relation to the hosting of the Tehran Virtual Book Fair, resulted in Iran country's representative being awarded the innovation prize at this conference.
