The 74th Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair was inaugurated on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), with the presence of Thailand's Deputy Minister of Commerce and a group of resident ambassadors, including Dr. Heidari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran. At this exhibition, a number of Iranian businesspersons in the field of gems and jewelry, including Mr. Mahalat —who has a background of over forty years of activity in Thailand—are presenting their products. Thailand is one of the most important centers of the gems and jewelry trade in the world, holding the first rank in the cutting and transformation industry of precious stones into jewelry, as well as the second rank in silver exports.
