At the invitation of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand (CICOT), Dr. Nassereddin Heidari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, attended the opening ceremony of the Training Project on Islamic Mediation of Disputes, on Monday, 14 September 2026. It should be noted that, the above-mentioned project is organized in cooperation between the Court of Justice of Thailand and CICOT, with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and capacity of personnel engaged in mediation in accordance with Islamic principles, while promoting cooperation and mutual understanding between the Court of Justice and CICOT. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to advancing peaceful dispute resolution grounded in the noble values of Islamic tradition. The ceremony was attended by His Eminence Mr. Arun Boonchom, Sheikhul Islam of Thailand, the President of Supreme Court and also Ambassadors of Saudi Arabia, Turkiye, Indonesia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan, and representatives from some other Embassies as well.
