The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand met with H.E. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand.

On July 18, 2025, H.E. Dr. Nassereddin Heidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, met with H.E. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand, at the Parliament Building.

H.E. Nassereddin Heidari refuted the false narratives of the Zionist regime regarding the concept of an "urgent Iranian threat" and "legitimate defense," presenting undeniable evidence of the impact of war and the predetermined, pre-planned, illegal aggression by the Zionist regime and the United States against civilians and the Iranian people. He emphasized that this aggression is a clear violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and all fundamental principles of international relations.

H.E. Nassereddin Heidari stressed that ignoring the blatant violations of international law and the UN Charter by the Zionist regime and the United States has created a dangerous precedent in international relations and further weakened the rule of law at the international level, leading to a more chaotic and perilous world.

H.E. Nassereddin Heidari stated that achieving security by undermining the security of others, and using force or military attacks against other countries, is not possible. Therefore, peace-loving countries, including Thailand, must play an important role in supporting justice and preventing the escalation of tensions.

During the meeting, information was provided about the peaceful nuclear energy program of the Islamic Republic of Iran and its benefits for the country's economic development. A report was also presented detailing the casualties, martyrs, and damage resulting from these attacks, based on the documentary "Neither on the Battlefield nor in Military Uniform, Massacre by the Zionist Regime: A Story of a Clear Violation of International Law, Human Rights, and Crimes against Humanity" and detailed documents concerning the international and multilateral actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran on this matter.

H.E. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Kingdom of Thailand, stated that he was on a Hajj pilgrimage during the attacks and followed the news closely. He added that the Thai Parliament intends to support the proposed resolution condemning the Zionist regime and the United States for these attacks at the next meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, and the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.

Similarly, H.E. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha also expressed interest in visiting Iran in the near future to meet with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed readiness to host H.E. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha's official visit to Iran, stating that the previous official invitation from H.E. Dr. Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, for H.E. Wan Muhamad Noor Matha to officially visit Iran remains valid.
