Meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao Peoples Democratic Republic

On Monday, March 3, 2025, H.E. Dr. Naserreddin Heidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand (Ambassador Plenipotentiary to the Lao People's Democratic Republic and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar), met and held discussions with H.E. MYTHONG THAMMAVONGSA, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, in Vientiane.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral issues, including the establishment of an advisory commission at the regional executive level, trade and investment cooperation, efforts to introduce the potential of both countries to businesspeople and the private sector, and cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Lao People's Democratic Republic in multilateral organizations such as ASEAN and the Asia Cooperation Dialogue.
