The Ambassador met with the Director-General of the Department of South Asia Middle East and Africa Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, H.E. Nassereddin Heidari, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Thailand, met with H.E. Sasirit Tangulrat, Director-General of the Department of South Asia, Middle East, and Africa, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. He reviewed joint activities with Thailand to commemorate 70 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries and discussed future plans. He also elaborated on the situation in West Asia and illegal actions of E3 regarding the so-called Snapback mechanism and reinstating UN sanctions.

The Director General expressed hope that the situation would be resolved through negotiations and peaceful measures. She also explained the initiatives regarding the commemoration of 70 years of diplomatic relations with Iran.
