The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Thailand met with the Director General of Consular Affairs Department of the MFA of

H.E. Mr. Nassereddin HEIDARI, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kingdom of Thailand, met with H.E. Mr. Mungkorn Pratoomkaew, Director General of Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, on June 2, 2026.

During this meeting, the two parties discussed aspects of their bilateral consular relations, including following up on the protection of Iranian and Thai nationals. Additionally, they reviewed the status of cooperation documents, specifically memorandums of understanding on the extradition of criminals, judicial assistance in commercial and civil matters, and visa waivers for holders of political and service passports.
