من المومنین رجال صدقو ما عاهدوا الله علیه فمنهم من قضی نحبه و منهم من ینتظر و ما بدلو تبدیلا

Brothers and sisters of faith, respected officials and distinguished guests at the Foundation of Islamic Center of Bangkok; We have gathered today as forty days have passed since one of the most bitter and at the same time epic events in Iran’s contemporary history. Forty days ago, Iran and the Islamic world lost not only a wise leader, but also a compassionate father for the Iranian nation and a sharp observer on the path to the liberation of the Holy Quds and the dignity of Muslims.

40th day in our culture is not just a number, but a symbol of continuity, the maturity of the blood of the martyr and the beginning of new growth. If the enemy thought that with the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and the zealous commanders of the Iranian military and a large number of innocent citizens, including women and children, and especially young girls from Minab Elementary School in the last forty days, the flame of justice would be extinguished, today, looking at your presence in this assembly commemorating the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in Thailand and other parts of the world, he realizes that the martyr is alive and will never die and will be by God’s side.

What has happened to Iran and the Islamic world in these forty days has revealed the true face of the false claimants of human rights. The brutal aggressions of the Zionist regime, with the complicity and direct support of the United States, have shown that today's battle is a battle between humanity and barbarity.

They thought that by bombing and assassinating officials, they could break the will of a nation that considers martyrdom to be bliss. But the truth is that every drop of blood that fell in Gaza and Tehran sowed the seeds of awakening in Muslim youth from the East to the West of the world, and this is a divine tradition. You, the Muslims of Thailand, have always been known for moderation, love, and peaceful coexistence. But today, part of our religious and Islamic duty is to denounce the oppressors. Your presence in this Islamic center on the occasion of the fortieth day of the martyrdom of Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, sends a clear message to the world that the Islamic nation is a single body and Muslims will never succumb to oppression.

The martyred leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran was a world-class figure. He was a prominent religious scholar and a managing and resourceful politician who, with a coherent mind and exceptional management power, was able to lead the Islamic Revolution of Iran to the heights of progress and advancement as a worthy successor to Imam Khomeini. He expressed theories in various intellectual fields and was recognized as a distinguished figure in the world. His views in the fields of discourse-building and statecraft, and especially his views on Iran's political and cultural independence, are particularly prominent.

He considered the secret of the fall and decline of civilizations to be the decline of their culture. In his opinion, culture is the main source of identity of nations that can lead nations to progress and development. Many world leaders derive their credibility from temporary ballot boxes or military power. This martyred leader had both divine and popular legitimacy. Unlike many leaders who make decisions in luxurious palaces far from the people, he was ultimately humble until the last moment of his life and lived among the people and considered the pain and suffering of the people his own.

This piety had given him the power to speak firmly and fearlessly against the superpowers, and his words had a global impact and influence. His fundamental difference from the world's nationalist leaders was his view of a unified Islamic nation. He did not see Iran as a separate island, but rather as part of the body of the Islamic world. While many powers sought to divide the Shiites and Sunnis, he provided the greatest support to the Sunni brothers in Palestine. This was a sign of the sincerity of the intention in the slogan of Muslim unity, and for this reason he viewed the Unity Week and Quds Day not as a political maneuver, but as a strategy for the convergence of the Muslims of the world.

In today's world, many leaders of Islamic countries remain silent in the face of the crimes of arrogance so that their economic interests are not jeopardized. But our martyred leader presented a new definition of a responsible Muslim in his speech. He believed that worshiping God is inseparable from politics and fighting against oppression. He spent his life fighting against the arrogant powers of the world. This resistance had a heavy cost, but he preferred making a deal with God over compromising with oppression and arrogance and was martyred in this path. Many leaders are brave, but they lack prudence or are cowards. During his thirty-six years of leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he wisely led Iran through storms such as sanctions, seditions, and wars.

The creative resistance of the military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in defending the land of Iran during this forty-day devastating war owes its prudence, rationality, foresight, and spirituality to his leadership, and at the same time, it is a symbol of successful Islamic governance in Iran during his leadership. Muslim brothers and sisters in Bangkok; When we talk about this great leader, we are not talking about someone who only thought about his own geographical borders, that is, Iran. We are talking about a personality who could not sleep peacefully whenever a child in Gaza complained of hunger or whenever oppression occurred anywhere in the Islamic world.

His difference from other world leaders was that he adorned politics with the ornament of morality. He taught us that it is possible to be at the peak of power, but live like the simplest of people. He taught us that the unity of the Muslims of the world is not a choice but a religious duty for us, the Muslims of the world. If we have gathered today in this Islamic center to commemorate the personality of this high-ranking martyr, we must know that we are indebted to the struggles of great men in the Islamic world who shielded themselves in the fight against oppression and arrogance and taught us the path to freedom and liberty.

In conclusion, I would like to thank you once again for your sincere presence in this Islamic center. The memory of that martyred leader, and especially the martyrdom of 168 young girls from Minab Elementary School who were martyred by American Tomahawk missiles, always reminds us of the need for unity and dignity of the Islamic nation throughout the world. I hope that by adhering to the character of our martyred leader, we will take steps towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood among Muslims and achieving lasting justice in the Islamic world.

والسلام عکیم و رحمه اله و برکاته
