Statement of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangkok Condemning the Outrageous and Criminal Military Aggression by the United States on Septembe,1 2026

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangkok strongly condemns in the strongest possible terms the outrageous, illegitimate, and aggressive military attack launched on Septembe,1 2026 by the terrorist army of the United States against the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which once again exposed the vicious, terrorist, and child-killing nature of this regime.

This brutal onslaught, which resulted in a human catastrophe, the massacre of ordinary civilians—especially innocent children—and the bloody tragedy of a local wedding ceremony with more than 68 casualties (martyrs and wounded), adds another stain to the dark record of the US crimes. This painful catastrophe echoes the horrific tragedy of the Minab elementary school, Lamerd Sport Complex, Unarmed Iranian Frigate in Indian Ocean and demonstrates the continuation of US inhumane policies. By resorting to fabrications and baseless pretexts, the United States has once again unmasked its true identity as a ruthless aggressor.

This horrific crime is a continuation of the long chain of crimes and conspiracies by the United States and the Zionist regime against the Iranian nation, which for decades has manifested in coups, cruel sanctions, comprehensive pressures, terrorism, fomenting riots, and now direct military aggression. The hegemonic objective of the US in these hostile actions is to break the iron will of a nation that has long been a victim of imperialist greed, yet continues to stand tall through courageous, continuous, and heroic popular resistance against aggression and domination.

Under international law, this blatant military aggression constitutes a clear violation of the United Nations Charter and international standards, rendering it an entirely illegitimate and terrorist act. Consequently, relying on its inherent right to legitimate defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, and based on the fundamental values of defending its independence, security, and territorial integrity, the Islamic Republic of Iran will decisively respond to this outrageous aggression and will relentlessly pursue every avenue to hold the perpetrators accountable and ensure they face the full force of justice.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Bangkok, while honoring the memory of the innocent martyrs of this incident and others since the onset of the aggression against Iran and expressing deep sympathy with the bereaved families, calls upon the awakened human conscience worldwide to denounce the heinous crimes of the US.
