Director-General of the Asia-Pacific Department of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Meets with the Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs

H.E. Mohammadi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director-General of the Asia-Pacific Department, met with H.E. Sasirit Tangulrat, Director-General of the South Asia, Middle East, and Africa Department of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during an official visit to Bangkok on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

During this meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations and international cooperation in various areas between the two countries. They agreed on the need to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year. According to the Thai side's announcement, the Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs is scheduled to visit Tehran, and the 10th meeting of the Joint Commission between the two countries will be held in Bangkok to commemorate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Iran.13:58
