Meeting of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar

The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar.
H.E. Dr. Nassereddin Heidari, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with H.E. Than Swe, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar. This was the first official meeting after presenting his letter of credence to the Chairman of the State Administration Council of Myanmar on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Reviewing the latest status of bilateral relations in political and economic fields, consultations on international issues, including the Rohingya Muslim issue, and cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) were among the important topics discussed between the two sides.
