In commemoration of the anti-terrorism hero General Soleimani

Daesh or ISIS was the most infamous terrorist group in the last decade. It was initially formed in Iraq in 1999 and gradually gained power. The terrorists managed to capture large parts of Iraq and Syria in 2014 and continued their campaign of terror in these countries.

Iranian military advisors were called upon by the governments of Iraq and Syria to help them fight the terrorist.

Chief among them was General Ghasem Soleimani, the commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force. After several years of heavy fighting and making many sacrifices, they succeeded in defeating Daesh in the two countries.

on January 3, 2020, General Qasem Soleimani was killed by a U.S. drone strike near the Baghdad International Airport in Iraq. The attack was ordered by Trump.

Soleimani was a key player in the fight against Daesh in Syria and Iraq and was considered number one enemy of the terrorist group.
